The Robot Shift Awards 2027

Awarded for work, not demos.

The Robot Shift Awards recognize robots and physical AI doing real work in supply chains. Logistics and operations leaders judge every entry on verified results.

Open worldwide, with a focus on China.

Key dates

  2. Entries close
  3. Finalists announced
  4. Winners revealed

Four rules that make these awards different

  1. Deployments, not launches. A robot qualifies after at least 90 days in production at a real customer site.

  2. Evidence, not essays. Entries include operating data the customer confirms, plus unedited video from the site.

  3. Operators judge. End-user logistics and operations leaders form the core of the jury. No vendors, consultants or investors sit on it.

  4. Nothing for sale. No entry fees, no paid places on the shortlist, no gala tables. Sponsors never judge.

Six categories

  • Deployment of the Year

The strongest verified robotics deployment in a supply chain operation.

  • Humanoid at Work

A humanoid robot doing productive work at a customer site. Entrants disclose how much of the work relies on teleoperation.

  • Cross-Border Deployment

A Chinese robot working outside China, or a foreign robot working in China.

  • Startup at Work

A company under five years old with robots in production at paying customers.

  • Enabling Technology

The sensors, components, software or data that make robots work better in real operations.

  • Operators' Choice

Verified end users from the logistics and supply chain community choose the winner. Vendor staff cannot vote.

Who can enter

  • Robotics companies, with a customer that confirms the deployment.

  • Operators entering their own deployments.

  • Deployments anywhere in the world.

Eligibility: the deployment went live or expanded in 2026, and has at least 90 days in production by February 28, 2027.

Operators can stay anonymous in public. The jury sees the full details under confidentiality.

Full rules and the entry form go live on December 1.
